- The members developed on calcium carbonate clay parent material have high Ca CO3 content that increases sporadically with depth. Black soils have pH values ranging from 7.3 to 8.9, which may reach up to 10.1 in sodic soils.

Which untraditional/ unique crops or trees can be grown apart from mentioned here? On this soil.
Mostly black soil has few limitation apart from tradition crops which gives best result as compared to red soil but apart from traditional crops..no-traditional crops is like sunflower,safflower, soya beans this look good in black soil but has to make sure Soil should be most and well drained and PH level of soil is above 6.7, as these kind of crops doesn’t like acidic soil (below 6.5 PH)
