The growth of the plant is increasing; it takes almost 65-200 years to get the right mature size for use and mature plants never exceed 9.1 meters in height. (About 31 feet) and1 foot (0.3 m) in diameter. Some of the species have been grown 3 feet (1 m.) in diameter and 16 feet (5 m.) Stem.

The trunk or bark is pale gray to pale brown and therefore the stem is usually deeply fluted but usually under 1.6 m long to the primary major branch, and under 30 cm in diameter, and sometimes finely scored within the wild. It commonly has quite one stem. Large trees may have low protections.
